Financial Coverage

Scholarship is Funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

The Scholarship covers the following:

• Exemption from Tuition Fees at public universities

• A Stipend of PLN 1,700 per month 

• For the duration of their studies, Nominated candidates shall also receive

• PLN 500 to cover the costs of relocating to Poland.

• PLN 500 to cover the costs linked to drafting their dissertation.

Eligibility Criteria of Poland Government Stefan Banach Scholarship 2024

 

Candidates must meet the following requirements for this scholarships:

• Be citizens of a country listed below.

• Polish citizens can not apply for this scholarships.

• Not have previously obtained a Master’s degree from polish University.

• Should have bachelor’s degree.

• Not have previously been granted any scholarship under the Program.

• Applicants can speak English at least at the B2 level.

Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Lebanon, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Palestine, Peru, Albania, Angola, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Georgia, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

Note: Citizens of Albania, Armenia, Moldova, North Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Montenegro, and Uzbekistan can complete second-degree studies in the fields of humanities and social sciences.
